ASV Minesotas štata iedzīvotājiem nācās pārdzīvot diezgan lielu šoku, kad no tuvējā Mille Lacs ezera uz viņu mājām sāka pārvietoties ezera ledus. Pie vainas bija spēcīgais vējš un siltais laiks, kā rezultātā sāka veidoties ledus krāvumi. Ledus uzbrukuma rezultātā pilnībā tika sagrautas 6 ēkas, bet vel vairākas sabojātas.
